THE POSITION

The Digital Production Specialist works with a team to perform day-to-day website maintenance including updating website pages, proofreading and editing website content. This role contributes to the expansion of product and service offerings through management of new website products and features. A high aptitude for organization, prioritization, and communication are critical in determining success. The Digital Production Specialist should be a hardworking and highly motivated self-starter.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Website maintenance using content management systems (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, Kentico, Sitecore, etc.)
  • Proofreading and editing website copy 
  • Front-end programming (HTML/CSS)
  • Management of website products and new features (i.e., live chat, Google Analytics, Search Console, GTM, personalization platforms, forms software, etc)
  • Applying best practice technical SEO tactics 
  • Managing product integrations across teams (for example, Social Tags, Media tags, etc) 
  • Email marketing (Hubspot, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor ,etc) 
  • Support reporting and analysis (i.e., Google Data Studio, tableau, etc., and using Excel, Python, etc., to manipulate data.)
  • Quality Assurance, such as, writing specs for developers, testing to established specs, and writing descriptive bug reports 
  • And all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTS

  • 1- 3 years of experience working with a content management system, programming and proofreading
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred
  • Savvy communication skills with teams, clients, and outside partners/vendors
  • Reliable, professional, assertive, extremely organized and keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Acts in a manner that supports the standards of communication, respect, privacy, and teamwork by demonstrating a commitment to professional and ethical conduct 
  • Demonstrates commitment to service excellence by promptly addressing internal/external customer issues/requests, resolving concerns while maintaining a professional image
  • Accepts ownership of job roles and specific assignments/goals; works independently, takes responsibility for own actions; admits mistakes and judgment errors; and accepts constructive feedback 
  • Connects personal work results to the accomplishment of team and organizational goals
  • Completes work assignments within established quality and/or quantity standards 
  • Communicates effectively with various audiences using the most appropriate method for the situation 
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills, exceptional communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action
