The Position

Are you a financial leader who thrives on structure yet craves an environment that fuels creativity and collaboration? Ten Adams is looking for an experienced, energetic Controller to join our team. In this influential role, you’ll lead our financial operations and work closely with the President and senior leaders to shape the future of our healthcare focused brand and marketing agency.

As Controller, you will oversee the agency's financial, operational, and benefits functions with precision and agility. Your responsibilities will span financial reporting, analysis, payroll, and benefits management. This is a role where your analytical skills, proactive mindset, and financial expertise will directly support our promise to deliver agile business solutions for healthcare business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership: Record transactions, prepare financial reports, manage monthly closings, and maintain cash flow adequacy.

  • Client Billing: Oversee billing and revenue recognition process and manage client receipts.

  • Vendor Payments: Oversee AP process, ensuring all vendor invoices and payments are verified and accurate.

  • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare monthly balance sheets, P&L statements, financial reports and forecasts to inform strategic decisions.

  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Manage payroll and employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement plans.

  • General Office Oversight: Lead the Accounting/Finance team and office administration, contributing to a cohesive workplace environment.

Qualifications + Requirements

  • We’re looking for a seasoned (7+ years) Controller with a strong foundation in finance and accounting who is proficient with accounting software/platforms and is also passionate about being a trusted advisor and collaborator.
