THE POSITION

The primary responsibility of the Project Director (PD) is to provide senior-level guidance during the creation of campaign scoping, timelines and budgets, as well as to manage overarching, consolidated program budgets and work-back schedules throughout the life of a client’s program/campaign. The PD acts as the senior agency advocate on accounts, ensuring that all client engagements are facilitated successfully, on-time, on-quality and on-budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages RFP/opportunity response workflow + budget 
  • Ensures alignment between scope + estimate within initial AOR SOW
  • Ensures campaign/project estimates align with SOW detail
  • Ensures all client architecture structures meet Financial, Account + Project Management needs
  • Ensures all campaign architecture structures meet Financial, Account + Project Management needs
  • Drives Strategic Marketing Plan execution and creation of Channel strategies + plans
  • Proactively manages consolidated AOR/campaign timelines
  • Manages consolidated client timelines
  • Oversees that all client engagements are on-quality (tactical), on-time and on-budget
  • Oversees the consistent successful facilitation of client engagements
  • Manages PO approvals above specified dollar amount
  • Maintains and monitors overarching client budgets + schedules monthly
  • Owns client-facing agency advocate communication
  • Ensures adherence to pertinent client contract requirements
  • Maintains deep understanding of agency AOR workflow
  • Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Marketing agency experience
  • Skilled in developing program/campaign work breakdown structures, creating timelines and driving successful execution of programs/campaigns, on-quality, on-budget and on-schedule
  • Skilled in collaborating with team members to create program/campaign estimates aligned with proposed scopes of work
  • Skilled in program/campaign and project financial management and analysis
  • Skilled in successfully managing programs/campaigns with multiple complex projects, components and deliverables
  • Experience managing RFP/pitch process
  • Experience managing and successfully developing direct reports
  • Experience with Workamajig, Workbook, Advantage, NetSuite OpenAir, Clients + Profits or other integrated operations tools a plus
