We're searching for an experienced, energetic, and talented Digital Project Manager to play a transformational role in a range of digital marketing efforts including websites, social media, email and online advertising.

The Position

A Project Manager is the glue that helps keep projects, and people, together. You are expected to ensure you have the right people in the right place at the right time to produce great creative work on time, on budget and as efficiently as possible. This position is responsible for organizing, managing and executing projects from beginning to end. The project scope can vary from a single initiative (campaign component) to multi-faceted marketing campaigns. He/she will work in conjunction with team members at every level of the organization to manage deadlines, objectives and budgets.

Our Digital Project Manager will partner with multiple teams to drive strategy, user experience, creative, development, media alignment and quality assurance on digital projects. This role will also assist with the development of new business opportunities ensuring scope and budgets are properly set.

This position requires that the candidate be a self-starter, extremely organized, detail oriented and highly motivated. This includes maintaining a high level of awareness and communication with client activities. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities while managing client and peer expectations, timelines and coordination between various resources.


The Responsibilities

Digital Project Management (60%)

  • Manages and tracks project execution including budgets, timeline, milestones, resources
  • Works closely with Project Coordinators to manage deliverables between the Account Services and Creative Teams
  • Organizes internal meetings and manages setup for client meetings
  • Assists with identifying next steps and responsibilities following internal and client meetings
  • Works with clients to service their needs and requests
  • Owns all project documentation and assets including wireframes, sitemaps, technology specs, and controls changes in scope and end-of-project closing requirements
  • Prepares client conference reports, weekly status reports + presentations
  • Prepares project updates, production approvals, creative estimate requests + project estimates
  • Proofreads work before it is presented or sent to the client
  • Account coordination on digital job management including web, social, and email
  • Oversee quality testing on all projects ensuring standards are met
  • Successfully manage conflicting priorities and effectively mitigate risks as they occur
  • Present solutions and recommendations based on clients’ goals and objectives


Internal Process Improvement (30%)

  • Mentors team in best practices and methodologies
  • Communicates the overall health of accounts and projects when required to the executive team
  • Keep team members, supervisors and clients informed of all relevant issues as they arise
  • Facilitate regular status meetings (internal and external); maintain periodic status reports
  • Create client training and transition materials as needed
  • Create, maintain and promote successful external relationships
  • Manage freelance resources as needed ensuring that the agency has a “bench” of available talent to supplement internal resources


Business Development (10%)

  • Gains a thorough understanding of the client’s business + healthcare industry
  • Develops Estimates, Request for Proposal and Scope of Work documents
  • Estimates personnel needs and associated hours for existing client projects and new business opportunities to arrive at accurate project scopes
  • Assists with crafting project briefs as needed
  • Assists with prospective client engagement including presenting estimates, project planning, correspondence, scheduling, meeting assignments as needed
  • Participates in strategic brainstorming as appropriate
  • Provides support to the Account Services Team

  • A proven approach to research – conducting content and feature audits, competitive reviews, brand analyses, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of web technologies such as HTML/CSS/JS and CMS platforms
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, BaseCamp, Workamajig or similar project management software
  • A solid understanding of common digital marketing metrics and analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc). SEO and PPC
  • Passion for staying current as the digital marketing landscape evolves
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or working with medical professionals is a plus


The Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of project management experience in a marketing, interactive development, or communications environment; prior agency experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Public Relations
  • Experience managing projects of all types (creative, web development, video production and more) a significant plus
  • Proven leadership abilities with assertive but tactful approach
  • Cool, calm, collected and collaborative
